The 1 inch thick 3M Filtrete filter comes in MERV 11 (Ultra Allergen, Micro Allergen) and MERV 8 (Dust and Pollen) ratings. Filtrete offers 29 standard sizes. We are offering buyers a special sale on cases of standard size Filtrete 3M filters: you will receive a discount on cases of 6 or 12 filters. We also offer free shipping on cases of standard size Filtrete filters. If your size filter is not available, you have the option of ordering a custom Ultra Allergen Filtrete filter. Custom filters take approximately 4 to 6 weeks to arrive. Please make sure you measure your old filter accurately, as custom filters cannot be returned. Accumulair Filters come in MERV 13 (Diamond), MERV 11 (Platinum), MERV 8 (Gold), and MERV 6 (Emerald) ratings. They are available in 1, 2, 4, and 6 inch thickness. We have more than 150 standard sizes available to you to choose from, so you are certain to find just the size you are looking for. When ordering, please be careful to select the proper-size filter. Some filters come in sizes that are stamped as actual, and others are cut back slightly from its stated size. If you are not sure of your size, it’s best to measure the filter that you currently use to assure the proper size.

Each filter is rated with a Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value (MERV) rating. The MERV rating system, which ranges from one to 13, measures the filter’s ability to filter the air. The higher the MERV number, the smaller the particle that can be filtered. Higher-rated MERV filters contain denser materials that create more airflow resistance, trapping particles better. To ensure the quality of the air in your home or office, you should choose the highest MERV filter that your unit can support. Both Filtrete air filters and Accumulair air filters offer a wide choice of sizes and MERV ratings.
